Overview
A companion app that lets Vattanac Bank account holders accept QR code payments as merchants. They can generate a KHQR code, enter an amount, confirm payment, and track business income from an iPhone.
The challenge
Small merchants need to take digital payments without a POS terminal. The flow has to be fast at the counter, clear about whether money actually arrived, and safe enough to run a business on.
What I did
- Shipped the merchant iOS app that lets account holders accept QR code payments
- Built the counter flow end to end: generate KHQR, enter the amount, confirm the payment
- Worked on merchant tools alongside the payment SDK and the main banking app
Counter-speed checkout
Enter an amount, show a KHQR code, get confirmation. The flow is designed for a line of customers, not a demo.
Clear payment state
A merchant has to know for certain that money arrived. The receipt shows the amount, time, payer and terminal.
Business insight
Reports summarize income and transactions over time, so the app is useful after the sale too.
